FMCG is hard. So how do you stay sharp when everything’s moving?

We hosted a killer panel with FMCG founders and experts and came away with gold for anyone in the FMCG trenches.

Here’s some of our top takeaways -

🔍 Ruthless focus. Test, learn, move on. Founders who chase product–market fit instead of perfection move faster—and scale smarter.

📈 Sleeping giants > shiny objects. Everyone’s chasing Gen Z. But there are big opportunities often hiding in plain sight. Check the sleepy supermarket aisles—disrupt where big players are slow.

🛒 Retail is a relationship game. Ask your buyer what their KPIs are. Make their job easier, not harder. And don’t rely on one retailer—spread the risk, stay agile.

📦 DTC is more than a sales channel. It’s where you learn fast, stay close to your customer, and build margin + brand loyalty at the same time.

🌱 Grassroots is underrated. Farmers markets. Local expos. Collabs with brands your audience already loves. Real-world touch points still build the strongest brand foundations—especially early on.

The brands staying sharp are the ones testing early, learning fast, and listening hard.
